A famous Lithuanian architect Valerijus Starkovskis has finished designing a luxurious island resort, the construction of which will begin in 2018 and opening is planned for the year 2020.
“Our delegation visited the Maldives and selected three islands that are suitable for establishing the resort. In addition, we received offers of cooperation from the owners of islands in Greece and the Caribbean. Currently, the experts are studying the benefits of 12 islands. We do not exclude the possibility of opening several island resorts, because the interest in the project is huge”, the leader of Olialia movement Anca Verma said.
According to the project plan of the resort, the shape of the island will resemble women’s high heeled sandals. There will be a number of five star hotels (at first, there will be 61 villas, and in the future, the number of rooms will increase to 500), several restaurants, a nightclub, a beauty salon and spa centers, the centre of harmony and psychology, a marina, a boardwalk, a mall and a helipad on the island. All the buildings will comply with the spirit and the worldview of the empowered women. World’s most famous companies will be the operators of the hotels, restaurants and service centers. The tenders will be announced soon.
A worldwide competition for the position of the island’s manager will be announced. The company is developing the conditions of the competition, and everyone across the globe would be able to participate in it.
A specially designed charter airline “Olialia Air” will ferry the tourists to/from Olialia island in Maldives.
